About the Program

The Women in the Ocean program is a 4-week coaching series to help women of all levels master ocean swimming. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, our small group sessions (max 12 participants) offer a safe, supportive environment to learn and grow. Led by Coach Paul from Fitsets, this program has already empowered women to swim confidently in events like the Moreton Bay Swim 2025.

What You’ll
Learn

  • Core Skills: Pacing, breathing, sighting, drafting, and swimming in a pack.

  • Technique: Refine your form with drills like "Zombie Arms" and video reviews.

  • Confidence: Swim up to 2 km in open water, sight accurately, and draft with ease.

  • Community: Build lasting connections with like-minded women.

What Participants Say

  • “For the first time ever, I was given advice on my technique that was simple to implement and made a real difference in the water. My confidence improved, and I met some lovely like-minded women. A number of us entered the Moreton Bay Swim 2025—it was great to have the skills to compete in rough conditions!”

    Michelle Dawson
  • “It was great to see the underwater film of my swimming. The drills like ‘zombie arms’ made us laugh as well as being excellent cues. We could feel our own improvement—and we all survived the Moreton Bay Swim. Definitely join if you’ve been thinking about it!”
