As we age, our training often gets trapped in the middle.
Not easy enough to recover. Not hard enough to grow.
Just familiar.
That's why I believe in hero sessions.

- Once a month: do something challenging and different. A mountain scramble. A long surf swim. A gravel adventure. A technical skills session.
- Once a quarter: do something you've never done before, or haven't done since childhood.
- Once a year: do something that genuinely challenges your fears.

Hero sessions aren't about chasing fitness.
They're about staying curious. Building stories. Growing confidence.
Because consistency doesn't come from routine alone.
It comes from occasionally reminding yourself that adventure is still possible.
Perform. Sustain. Flourish.
